My son (5 yo) had been begging for a 3D pen for months leading up to his birthday. I originally bought a cheaper 3D pen and instantly regretted it. After troubleshooting the other pen for about a month, I threw it in the trash and ordered this one. This 3D pen is wireless with no hot areas my son could burn himself on. The pen works absolutely great and he loves it! If you're debating on buying this pen or another cheaper model - do yourself a favor and buy this one. You won't regret it!
It’s a great gift! I bought it as a birthday gift for my daughter’s friend, and I really liked it. It was actually double-packed—the colorful, attractive packaging was inside a plain brown outer package. At first, I was a little confused because the outside packaging looked dull and didn’t seem very gift-worthy. But once I opened it, I found the beautiful colorful packaging inside. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and think it makes a lovely gift!
Bought for my daughter but I am having a hard time sharing it with her. This is such a cool tool. The more I use it the more I see what can be done with it. When my daughter can pry it away from me, she makes the most creative things too. Opens your creative mind in new ways. You can use with silicon molds too… just found this out. Wish the battery lasted longer because we could use this all day long. Be prepared to buy more filament because you will want more colors to make more items. Make sure you buy the correct melting temp for your pen. You can use the pen directly into your skin and no burn. Completely safe for children with no risk of injury. Own turns off if left on. Note: it does not come off of clothing. Great if you want to decorate clothes but not if you don’t want to. Overall it’s awesome!!!
This is the coolest toy! I bought this for my 5 year old and she spent hours playing with it. It is very user friendly and simple to set up. I love that it heats up but doesnt get hot at all to the touch. The plastic flows out super smoothly and hardens quickly, it doesn't make much of a mess at all. The colors come out the same as the sticks you use, there are no weird smells. I had a ton of fun with it as well as an adult. The sticks do go quick so I would recommend buying extra sticks when you purchase the doodler. There are plenty of options of all price ranges on Amazon for more sticks. Highly recommend this for ages 5 and up!
This is a perfect 3D pen for children. It is very easy to use. I teach elementary school students and found that these rechargeable are much easier to use in a classroom than the ones with cords. the charge lasts through two back-to-back classes. I had an issue with one of the pens I ordered and the company quickly replaced it for me and followed up to be sure I was satisfied.
